Speaking of the extra difficulty tiles, the other content that CGE has released online is all excellent, as well. The AI tiles that come in the box can end up being a little too easy for experienced players, but the additional tiles that are available online completely fix that issue. The solo AI is quite easy to manage, and you do not have to spend very long resolving its actions, which is great. It is also a very unique take on deck building, which may have been off-putting to some people who were expecting a more traditional deck builder, but I think the mechanisms ultimately work quite well. It's an extremely tactical game, so if you prefer games that lean more heavily into strategy than tactics, it may not be for you. I just did another run-through of the campaign a few weeks ago, actually. For me, though, I've played it easily 20+ times over the last year and I'm not sick of it yet. It's one of my absolute favorite solos, although it does seem to be very divisive among the solo community.
